3-4-3, Rudiger's key role: How Real Madrid could line up under Tuchel

There are some tactical features the German is well known for – let's see how he could implement them at the Whites.

Preferred formation: 3-4-3.

Reece James and Jude Bellingham are the only two new players we've added here. Both have been linked with Real Madrid, both would be of much use to Thomas Tuchel.

Here is what to expect from this lineup.

1. Antonio Rudiger would play a key role. Don't be surprised if he becomes our best centre-back under Thomas Tuchel – he rose from rags to riches at Chelsea and is ready to deliver at Real Madrid. His defensive brilliance aside, Rudiger would also be helpful at going forward, something he often practices under Carlo Ancelotti.

2. Wing-backs would score a lot. Reece James and Ferland Mendy would be the perfect fits for Thomas Tuchel's system of play. They are fast enough to timely track back and love spending much time in attack.

3. The midfield would be something else. Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni supported by David Alaba from the deep – smells tasty. Tuchel loves having a deep-lying playmaker and a box-to-box midfielder in his central area, so Real Madrid is where his tactical wishes could be fulfilled.

4. There would be an all-rounder attack. Federico Valverde, Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior are pressure machines who are also very prolific in front of goal – something Tuchel badly missed with Timo Werner and Kai Havertz. The three attackers would be fully involved in Real Madrid's buildup most of the time, so this is what would make them so special for Thomas Tuchel.
