Kroos 10, Rodrygo 4: rating Real Madrid players in Cadiz win

The German was the architect of Real Madrid's win tonight. He assisted the opener with a brilliant curved cross and then went on to score the second with a powerful volley from outside the penalty box.

Kroos was immaculate in distributing the ball, completing 88/95 passes, 11/14 long balls and providing 4 key passes.

Militao was booked early on after being caught out of position but went on to deliver a very solid performance. His goal aside, Eder impressed through his defensive work (3 clearances, 2 tackles, one interception) and his accurate passing.

It's a shame that Vini did not end the night with an assist to his name but it's not his fault that Luka Modric missed an open goal from two meters out. The Brazilian was a constant threat on the wing, beating his markers and then going either for the shot or for the pass inside. 

What the right-back lacked tonight was proper decision-making. Lucas often received the ball deep into the opponent's area but went for the shot when he needed to pass and vice versa. Defensively, he didn't contribute much either.

Again playing at centre-forward, Rodrygo wasn't as useful in the buildup as he was in the previous game despite being free to roam all over the pitch. The youngster's finishing was also off, failing to score from advantageous positions.

Is it possible a team most win all the matches of the season? You can judge just because of 3 games disaster assuming vini and rodrygo are in any other team we will be happy to have them in our squad while can't we exercise patience is just matter of time and this is football no team can win all his matches if there's challenge on the league unless league is useless can't you see other teams Barcelona spent more than us but they are still struggling some years back we spent more than any other clubs all galaticos are in our team but still we can't even qualify from round of 16

Real Madrid needs a coach that would change the style of play tactically and be brave enough to demand new and quality players from the board, ask yourself when was the last time that Real Madrid won a match by 5-0 or 6-0?  

I'm afraid we can't win without luck today's games we won by set pieces, but after spending 100s of millions we can't win a match convincingly 

The truth is Real Madrid was lucky last season and that luck cannot be forever. Playing like we did this season will not get the team anywhere.

I agree with you. Madrid has many international players who will play at World Cup. They were all cautious (unlike) the clubs we played with recently who doesn't have big players that will participate in the World Cup.

You are not far from the truth as our players are playing safe to avoid sidelining injuries from the World cup Quatar 22! Madrid boast of 💯% World cup 22- bound players. No club comes a distant second!

Lucas rating was very wrong, he was very instrumental, now they can go to the world cup they have been playing safe for, and come back without injuries please, wish them all well, so they can come back safe and focus more on the league.
