Fabrizio Romano provides big update on Real Madrid's Endrick pursuit

"Real Madrid are now leading the race to sign Endrick, pushing as reported in the last few days. Official negotiations are ongoing with Palmeiras on €60m fee, including add-ons," Fabrizio Romano reports.

"PSG & Chelsea remain in the race, no concrete talks with Barca — but Real are ahead," he adds.

Even if Real Madrid and Palmeiras agree the Endrick deal, the player will only join the Whites when he turns 18, in 2024.

Real Madrid are said to be prepared to give up on signing Erling Haaland if they land Endrick.

Endrick is a 16-year-old wonderkid with a crazy goalscoring record for Palmeiras' youth teams – it stood at 165 goals in 169 games in January. The teenager already plays for the senior side despite being so young.
