'It's impossible to think he's going to retire': Ancelotti gives fresh update on Kroos future

The German's contract with the club expires in June 2023.

“I think that Kroos is quite clear about it [the future] and we will all know about it [his decision] next month. 

As a fan, it is impossible [for me] to think that he is going to retire. 

He has said that he wants to finish his career at Madrid and hopefully he can continue.”

This will be pleasing news for Real Madrid fans as Kroos is currently enjoying a brilliant season with Los Blancos and 32 is quite too soon for the someone of his calibre to hang up his boots.

 said in his press conference for the Celtic game.  

"I want to retire here but I don't know when I will stop playing. I'll decide with the club.

"I feel very good physically. The World Cup break will help me to rest a bit. I don't have to worry about injuries. I'll have time to rest.

"My relationship with Real Madrid is special and will always be special.

"About my future, we will discuss about it in January, February or March.

"I feel very good right now. We will see what will happen," Kroos adds. 

Kroos has been at Real Madrid for the past eight years and has enjoyed remarkable success. 

The German maestro has already won four Champions League titles at Madrid and remains one of the best midfielders in World football today. 

The 32-year-old will be a free agent at the end of this season.

Kroos is playing a very good trade, now Madrid is begging him to add one or two more years of contract, therefore his market value will rised up to a situation where Madrid has pay better money for him, because it's Madrid that's pleading not him, Kroos is highly technical both on and off the pitch, watch and see.
