Vazquez 'out for a month', Valverde 'not at 100%': fresh injury update at Madrid

It has not been quite a good start to the year for Real Madrid, given the defeat against Villarreal and the injuries that have plagued the squad.

Apart from David Alaba and Aurelien Thcouameni, who didn't even travel to Riyadh, there are several more players whose condition is of concern.

Following tests carried out, Lucas Vazquez has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle and, according to AS, will be out for a month.

On top of that, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde (both had knocks), Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy (muscle overload) are said to be "not at 100%"

However, unlike the aforementioned three, these players will be at Carlo Ancelotti's disposal for the upcoming El Clasico in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday.
