Departures
Mariano is certain to leave as his contract expires on June 30.
The Merengues will also try to sell Jesus Vallejo, Eden Hazard, Alvaro Odriozola, and Ferland Mendy. All of them are considered not good enough for Madrid.
Arrivals
The top targets for next summer are Jude Bellingham and Fran Garcia.
There's a tight race over Bellingham, with Premier League clubs ready to offer him better personal terms, so it will all depend on what Jude wants to do with his future.
As for Garcia, he is set to sign for €5m after rejecting Bayer Leverkusen this winter.
The club is also considering bringing Brahim Diaz back to the club. AC Milan wants to keep the midfielder but Brahim's dream is to succeed at Santiago Bernabeu.
Contract extensions
The club is ready to keep Toni Kroos, Nacho, Marco Asensio, and Dani Ceballos.
Asensio and Ceballos are expected to continue, but things could change if they receive better offers from elsewhere. Kroos and Nacho are yet to decide what's next and Madrid is ready to accept whatever decision they might make.
There are doubts regarding Luka Modric and his future will depend on his performances until the end of the season. It is not excluded that the veteran leaves as a free agent.
