Carlo Ancelotti has praised Eduardo Camavinga and Nacho who are both being played out of position at Real Madrid due to injuries to other players right now.
Speaking after the game against Sociedad Ancelotti said of Camavinga: "I thought he played well. He's an option that we can use. He has the quality, energy. He links up well with Vini Jr. on the wing, creating chances.
"I'm impressed by his energy, which can also see him play as a fullback. The left-back playing with Vini Jr. has to move inside more than outside and that suits him well".
The gaffer also praised Nacho as well:
“He had a spell where he didn’t get much playing time and now he’s doing a great job.
"He always delivers and he’s doing his bit as a right back. The team worked together defensively and we pressed higher up than usual. That was a positive”.
Injuries to Dani Carvajal (right-back) and Ferland Mendy (left-back) have necessitated the use of Nacho and Camavinga in those positions.
Real Madrid remained defensively solid against Sociedad although they failed to find a cutting edge and ultimately played out a 0-0 at home.
