Ancelotti provides injury updates on Militao and Benzema – one player ruled out for Sunday

Real Madrid lost two players to injury during the game against Valencia with Eder Militao and Karim Benzema leaving the pitch early.

"It looks like Militão won't be able to play on Sunday," Carlo Ancelotti said after the game.

"Benzema's [case] seems lighter, [we subbed him] as a precaution. That's what happens when you play every three days," the boss added.

Benzema may play again on Sunday pending the results of tests later tomorrow.

It was Benzema who provided the two assists for Marco Asensio and Vini Jr's goals in the 2-0 win.

Real Madrid have now cut the gap in the title race to five points.
