Toni Kroos has extended his contract to stay at Real Madrid until 2024, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Romano says the deal to keep Kroos for one more season has been "signed, sealed" pending an official confirmation by the club.
Los Blancos admire Kroos and have decided to keep the veteran in their squad for one more year. However, that would likely be Kroos' last season at the club with Jude Bellingham expected to come in and Aurelien Tchouameni tipped to step up.
The 33-year-old joined Real Madrid in 2014 for €25m from Bayern Munich and has been a key player for the club ever since.
The German icon has won four Champions League and three La Liga titles during his exemplary career in Madrid. He's also played 409 games for the club scoring 27 goals and recording 88 assists.
