Real Madrid receives money from Alvaro Morata transfer to Milan
Real Madrid are still bagging money for Alvaro Morata 10 years after he left the club on a permanent transfer.
Real Madrid sold Morata to Juventus for €20m in 2014, but it wasn't until 2017 that they permanently lost all their rights to the player following a €60 million move to Chelsea from Atleti.
According to Diario AS, Real Madrid will earn €390,000 following Morata's €13 million move to AC Milan last week.
The money will come from 'FIFA's solidarity mechanism' that rewards clubs for raising young players.
In total, Real Madrid have earned a staggering €74.8 million from Alvaro Morata's transfer movements since 2014.
Morata recently captained Spain to win Euro 2024. The striker played for Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, Atlético Madrid and now AC Milan.
