A third penalty of the current Champions League campaign was awarded against Real Madrid during their sixth league phase match.
Aurelien Tchouameni brought down Atalanta defender Sead Kolasinac in the penalty area in the 45th minute. Charles De Ketelaere converted the spot kick to level the score (1-1 at halftime).
Earlier in the tournament, Real Madrid faced two penalties, one of which was successfully taken by Jonathan David of Lille (1-0).
Interestingly, in 16 La Liga matches this season, no penalties have been awarded against Real Madrid.
