"I always saw them with a ball but more than anything else, they were inseparable when they were playing," said Laurence Py, the mother of Lucas and Theo Hernandez. There has always been a sibling rivalry between the pair. "They were both winners who didn't like to lose, especially when they were playing against each other," said their academy coach at Rayo Majadahonda, Pablo Lopez Salgado. Whilst at club level Théo and Lucas have gone their separate ways since their formative years at Atletico Madrid, the rivalry is very much still alive and it plays out in front of the eyes of the world at every major international tournament. The pair faced off against each other for the first time in their career when PSG played Milan in the Champions League last season. As for the Euros though, Lucas will miss out after suffering another ACL injury.
