Zinedine Zidane faces a positive problem ahead of Juventus clash: who should play up front?
Too many players play too good
Gareth Bale's great performance against Las Palmas on Saturday poses a question for Zinedine Zidane: who should start against Juventus? Los Blancos face the Italian giants on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Cristiano Ronaldo has rested and his place in the starting eleven is undoubted anyway, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro are all fit, so it makes sense to expect them to start as well. Zidane's dilemma is who should accompany Cristiano up front.
While the Portuguese can play as the main striker, it is more likely that Karim Benzema will get his usual spot between the two wingers. The only vacant place left could be occupied by three players: Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio. Besides, Isco is also in contention to start after his amazing performance for the national side.
If Zidane opts for both Asensio and Vazquez, he will almost certainly choose the 4-4-2 formation with Cristiano and Benzema as the two strikers.
How should we line up against Juventus?
