Sports Illustrated: Paul Pogba reportedly offered to Real Madrid in January
Super-agent Mino Raiola had allegedly offered his client's services to the capital club during the January transfer window.
Sports Illustrated's reporter, Grant Wahl, writes that Mino Raiola offered the midfielder to Los Blancos back in January:
"One of the other clubs Raiola contacted for Pogba was Real Madrid. They weren’t interested, partly because they felt they dodged a bullet by not getting him 2 years ago and also thought signing him now would throw their salary structure out of whack."
Real Madrid had reportedly turned down the offer due to the player's wage demands and his position not being a priority to strengthen for the club.
Football Espana suggests that the rumour might be doubtful, as Real Madrid don't do business with Raiola in principle, with no player in the squad being his client.
Last week Pep Guardiola had claimed that Raiola offered Pogba to Manchester City.
Do we need Pogba in the squad?
