Gonzalo Higuain returns to the Bernabeu
He might be long gone, but his misses will stay in the memory of every Real Madrid fan for a long time.
In the 2009/10 Champions League season Los Blancos aimed to reach the quarter-finals for the first time in 6 years, but were eliminated by Lyon, after Higuain wasted a good chance in the crucial moment, hitting the post.
That moment eclipses all the good things he did for Madrid during his stint with the club.
The Argentinian scored 121 goals, while at the Bernabeu, 29 in that 2009/10 season, but there always was something missing with him.
Higuain was let go 2013 with Gareth Bale arrival and joined Napoli, where he scored almost 100 goals in three years. And then he signed for Juventus for 90m euros and he keeps scoring in Turin, with most of the goals coming in domestic competition.
This night he will be hoping to come up with a special performance in his old stadium.
