- Real Madrid consider him perfect replacement should Luka Modric leave the Bernabeu
According to Sky Sports, Real Madrid are monitoring Christian Eriksen's situation at Tottenham. Los Blancos see him as a perfect replacement for Luka Modric, should the Croat midfielder opt for the Bernabeu exit.
However, Madrid are facing the competition from Barcelona and PSG who are also interested in the Spurs star man, for whom the North London club would demand a fee close to £100m.

Ex-Milan striker and Denmark assistant coach, Jon Dahl Tomasson, recently stated that Eriksen is even better than Modric in some aspects of his game. “Eriksen is more decisive in terms of goals, assists and secondary assists,” told reporters when asked to compare Tottenham and Real Madrid players.
Spurs, meanwhile, want to renew their star, who signed from Ajax for €13.5m back in 2013, and will be reluctant to sell the 26-year-old in summer as he is viewed as the key player in Mauricio Pochettino's system.
When it comes to Modric, he has allegedly decided to stay at Real Madrid, as per Diario AS and Marca. Real Madrid will offer him an extension and a pay rise that will see him equalling the club's second highest earner - Sergio Ramos with 10 million euros salary.
What do you think? Could Eriksen replace Luka?
