4 players who impressed vs Leganes and 2 who didn't: ratings
Madrid once again failed to impress with something missing from the team. It's tiring to see another mostly boring display with little to be said about the game as a whole. Los Blancos tried their best with Carvajal and Valverde doing everything they could. Sadly, it wasn't enough in the end.
Players who impressed:
Fede Valverde, 8/10
Added considerably more work rate and more efforts both upfield and in Madrid's penalty area. Got booked when trying to make up for Marcelo who once again got caught in mid-position. The 21-year-old Uruguayan continues to progress and will surely be part of Zidane's plans for the next season if he goes on like this.

Karim Benzema, 7.5/10
Enjoying a season of his life with 27 goals across all competitions, 18 in La Liga alone. Showed some razor-sharp finishing after the rebound from Leganes keeper, Ivan Cuellar.
Luka Modric, 7/10
While understandably in need of some rest, Croatia international was Madrid's best in the 15 minutes after the break, providing a through-ball to Benzema which ended in equaliser, and a curled cross which could have well taken the Blancos ahead.
Dani Carvajal, 7/10
Was more than eager to impress in his hometown and stormed forward from the right-bank on more than one occasion, while being able to cover-up the backline.
Dani Carvajal on the whistles he received at Leganes Stadium: “I'm thinking about the people who applaud me when I come here. Some accuse me of disrespecting them when I played here with Castilla but it's not true." pic.twitter.com/EJYies0B07— RMadridHome (@RMadridHome_) April 16, 2019
Players who didn't impress:
Raphael Varane, 6/10
Once again somewhat disengaged and a bit dreamy, the World Cup winner didn't look much as a part of the squad - was lucky Casemiro had been there to deny Nesyri's advances.

60 mins in, all 10 outfield Real Madrid players have more acc. passes than any of Leganes players 😳
Still #LeganesRealMadrid 1-1.
56 - Carvajal
49 - Isco
45 - Nacho
43 - Fede, Asensio, Varane
41 - Marcelo
35 - Modric
34 - Casemiro
17 - Benzema
15 - Siovas
Having hard time regaining his form - while no serious howlers were committed, Zidane's choice to rest Sergio Reguilon could hardly be understood.
