Ramos missing from Madrid's training despite rumours of his return
- Real Madrid have started preparing for Real Betis clash.
- Sergio Ramos was absent from the training session.
- Earlier Marca reported the captain will be ready for the last game of the La Liga season.
Blancos started their preparations for the last game of the season vs Real Betis but one person missing from Wednesday's training session was Sergio Ramos, our captain.
The veteran def hasn't played since April 3 when we lost an away match against Valencia and it looks highly unlikely he'll be back in time for Real Betis. The 32-year-old was seen at Valdebebas though as he continued his individual training sessions in the gym.
Keylor Navas has also been seen in training and it is understood the French boss will let the Costa-Rican have his proper goodbyes from Real Madrid supporters, in what will be his final game for the club.
Also, the same match vs Betis could potentially be the one where Karim Benzema breaks his goalscoring record. The Frenchman currently has 30 goals and needs 3 more to overcome his own achievement for goals in a single season.
Aside from that we could also see Gareth Bale play his final Real Madrid match on Sunday. The Welshman reportedly accepted his fate after Zidane made it clear there wouldn't be a place for the winger in 2019/2020 Real Madrid. Gareth wants to say his farewells on May 19, according to various sources.
There will be three definitive absences this Sunday - Alvaro Odriozola who's out for the remainder of the campaign with injury and Casemiro and Jesus Vallejo who are both suspended.
