Ceballos has allegedly refused to work with Zinedine Zidane
- The 22-year-old midfielder has allegedly fallen out with Zidane.
- Dani hasn't been given enough playing time this term.
- 'I didn't want to carry on working with you, either'.
- Earlier, Ceballos has made it crystal clear he isn't afraid of playing elsewhere.
Dani Ceballos has become something of a fringe figure this season, making just three appearances after Zidane has come back to Santiago.
Speaking to UEFA.com ahead of the European Under-21 Championship on Saturday the midfielder admitted he's been given not as much playing time as he'd hoped for.
Moreover, AS understand that later in the season the midfielder has fallen out with Zidane by telling the 46-year-old boss: "No problem, boss - I didn't want to carry on working with you, either." in response to the suggestion he isn't a part of Zidane's plans for the next season.
Ex-Betis man has earlier made it clear he wouldn't be afraid to change sides if needs be:
"Zizou has always been clear with me, I'm not going to tell you what he said but he's always been clear with me," said Ceballos regarding his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I am a player that likes to be important and have minutes. I'm not afraid to leave Spain for Italy, Germany or China, wherever I go, it'll be for minutes," added Dani.
Tottenham are seen as a possible destination for the player, reported Diario AS earlier. The manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly wants to see Ceballos in the Premier League in order to be a replacement for Christian Eriksen with a €40-50m price tag attached to the rumour.
