Telegraph: 'No sign' of Pogba being distracted by Madrid rumours
- The Frenchman is trying to force through a move away from Old Trafford.
- Nevertheless, Pogba has been included in United's pre-season summer squad.
- And the World Cup winner is behaving like professional, giving it a 100% in training.
- Apparently, he is not going for strike tactics.
According to the Telegraph, Paul Pogba is not letting the uncertainty over his long-term United future affect his pre-season preparations.
As per the report, the Frenchman is being an absolute professional in training, giving it a 100 per cent and looking 'full of energy'.
In fact, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently went out of his way to stress that he never had a problem with the 26-year-old's behaviour.
The Norwegian said: "It's an agenda against Paul, he's a great, great professional, never been any problems, he has a heart of gold.
"Paul's never put himself out of the team, always given his best and I can't report anything other than that agents talk all the time."
Pogba is expected to feature for United on Saturday when the Red Devils will take on Australian side Perth Glory in the first game of the pre-season.
As for Real Madrid, Los Blancos haven't secured the Frenchman's transfer even though he has already explicitly hinted at his desire to leave Manchester United. The Red Devils don't want to sell the midfielder. In fact, they are not even considering negotiating on this matter. United's firm stance has been recently confirmed by their head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The second problem is the player's excessive price. Even if Manchester United agree to sell Paul Pogba, they won't accept anything less than 180 million euros. Finally, Los Blancos are currently in the process of selling players so they wouldn't be penalized on the basis of FFP rules. Signing the French midfielder might jeopardize the whole operation of balancing the sheets. Only selling someone like Gareth Bale might make the move for Pogba feasible.
