Zidane refuses to confirm James and Bale leaving despite recent decisions
- Zinedine chose to exclude Rodriguez from the squad and used Bale very reluctantly throughout the pre-season.
- However, the manager insists that anything can happen until the market closes.
- We can still see James and Gareth wearing Real Madrid shirts next season.
Zinedine Zidane is not someone who likes to give clear answers. Perhaps it's because he doesn't have them right now: "James and Bale are players in the squad. Anything can happen before market closes, but they are Madrid players, and I will count on all the players I have."
When asked if the Colombian's absence from the pitch means James is leaving the Bernabeu for good: "No. James is our player. He has not been called up these two games. Until 31 August [he means September 2] anything can happen. But a coach will always count on the players he has available. I won't tell you the things you want. l will count on the players I have."
Will we have any idea of how our team is going to operate after the end of the Spanish transfer window?
