Gareth Bale said to be hoping to leave next summer with China seemingly his only option
- The Welshman reportedly looks to leave the club.
- Bale won't be able to leave in January though due to his high wages and complicated injury history.
- Gareth is said to be reluctant to accept a lower salary which rules out major league clubs.
- His only option at this point seems to lie with the Chinese.
According to Diario AS sources, Gareth Bale wants to leave the Santiago Bernabeu with his situation at the club seemingly reaching the point of no return. The Welshman last appearance came on October 13 with the national team controversy only adding fuel to the fire.
Bale is said to be tired of the constant media pressure and the strange relationship between him and Zinedine Zidane. The winger is already 30-years old and he needs to think about the closing stage of his career with his high wages and physical problems getting in the way of moving to other European clubs.
The Premier League seemed the logical destination for the player but no one is going to pay an injury-prone 30-year-old the same kind of money Gareth gets at Real Madrid. With that in mind, China seems to be the only option.
However, the Welshman is expected to stay until the end of the 2019-2020 season with an exit in January looking very unlikely. Bale is still under contract with Los Blancos and Florentino Perez won't let anyone buy him at a discount price.
Do you think Bale can do something extraordinary on the pitch to save his career with the Whites?
