Vinicius given chance to prove his worth due to Hazard missing Alaves and Espanyol games
- The youngster might make his comeback on Saturday.
- With the Belgian currently recovering, Vinicius may expect some playing time.
- Zidane excluded the Brazilian from both Real Sociedad and PSG match squads.
The Brazilian might be back in the starting line-up on Saturday against Alaves. With Eden Hazard temporarily unavailable to Zinedine Zidane, Vinicius' preferred position is vacant. The youngster has a theoretical chance to prove himself while the Belgian is busy recovering.
Naturally, the manager can simply play Rodrygo Goes on the right and Gareth Bale on the left. We have seen that before so it's completely possible. However, seeing how Vinicius is aching to get back into our match squad with Zidane obviously needing to test the winger, we are expecting to see Junior on the pitch.
According to an earlier report by Marca, the youngster is valued very highly at the Santiago Bernabeu despite Zidane excluding the player from the matches against Real Sociedad and Paris Saint-Germain.
Los Blancos board members are said to be adamant on keeping the Brazilian at the Casa Blanca. Even though Vinicius is clearly having issues on the pitch with the Belgian arriving and basically owning the wing, the Whites' elite put their trust in the youngster.
The winger's problems are seen as something temporary and are expected to disappear over time. With this sort of support from the club, the Brazilian is guaranteed to keep his place in the club. Also, Zidane's decision to keep the player on the sidelines may be purely tactical.
Estadio de Mendizorroza, get ready for these two!
