Real Madrid youngster Kubo rejects Valladolid loan move
- According to a report, Takefusa Kubo has no desire to play at another team.
- The Japanese attacker has reportedly refused to join Valladolid on loan.
- The youngster wants to take his chances at Castilla and wait for La Liga playing time.
Jugones say Takefusa Kubo is against the idea of moving to Real Valladolid for a year. Unlike Andriy Lunin, the midfielder has a better chance of playing in La Liga. Takefusa allegedly preferred to stay and wait for Zinedine Zidane to include him in the senior squad. Whether the idea is a good one or not - time will tell.
GOL have reported earlier that Valladolid were obliged to guarantee Kubo at least a thousand minutes of playing time should they've signed the youngster on loan in the 2019-2020 season. Real Madrid were said to in favour of the move and wanted him to play instead of warming benches.
Valladolid manager Sergio Gonzalez has commented on the recent rumours linking our Japanese player with the La Liga side: "Signing Kubo on loan? As long as things aren't official, I won't say anything."
Earlier, Zinedine Zidane has made it clear he has high hopes with the 18-year-old: "He will be an important player in this squad in the future, for sure. We will see what we do with him, talking to him. The idea is for him to play with Castilla and train with us. He is young, like Rodrygo and Vinicius. We must go slowly with them."
