Mbappe wants to postpone contract talks with PSG
- The Ligue 1 club sporting director Leonardo recently said that PSG are in talks with Mbappe about renewing his current deal.
- However, Kylian's agent is said to be reluctant to deliver a concrete answer right now.
- This is due to the winger's desire to concentrate on playing until the season ends.
- Real Madrid are monitoring the situation with Mbappe expected to move to the Bernabeu.
According to Telefoot, Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe are yet to reach an agreement regarding the renewal of his current contract with Les Parisiens. The Frenchman's agent has not given any concrete answer to the club with Real Madrid waiting in the shadows.
The reason is said to be Mbappe wanting to focus on his football until the end of the season and avoid negotiating another long-term deal right now. Naturally, this looks pretty unreasonable for someone who plans to stay at their current club.
After Los Blancos and Les Parisiens played against each other in the Champions League last month, the 19-year-old has sent a message to Real Madrid supporters which could be interpreted as a hint to a move in the future.
However, PSG sporting director Leonardo stated earlier that the Paris-based team will keep Kylian: "Mbappe stays here 100 per cent, he's a Paris Saint-Germain player. We are moving forward with his contract renewal. We move slowly, but we are moving."
