Barcelona must improve their Champions League away record
The Catalans won just one game away from home in the Champions League this season.
The sighs for Barcelona's disastrous exit against Roma were there, as the Blaugranes needed two own goals to master a victory over Italians in the first leg at Camp Nou.
As much as Barca's Champions League exit comes as a surprise, it was by no means undeserved. Roma were the better side over two legs.
It brings us to another problem: Barcelona's atrocious away form in the Champions League. Their only victory away from home this season came against Sporting in the group stage, thanks to an own goal.
Scoring away goals also poses a problem to Barcelona:
They drew against Chelsea, Juventus and Olympiakos. Moreover, according to Opta, Barca won just one of their last seven (by now) away games.
Facing Italian sides seems to be a particularly tough task for the Catalans.

With Barcelona failing to win the most prestigious European competition since 2015, they have to find some answers and improve their away form next season.
