Pep Guardiola has also been struggling since leaving Barcelona
The legendary manager has been working with Bayern Munich and Manchester City but still failed to win the Champions League at least once.
The last time Guardiola won the Champions League title was with Barcelona in 2011. The Catalans defeated Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United 3-1.
Since then, the Catalan manager has been struggling.
• In 30 knockout Champions League knockout games, Guardiola has just 13 wins.
• His Bayern Munich were stopped in the semi-finals in all three seasons he spent in Germany.
In his debut season with Manchester City, he failed to go past the first knock-out stage of the Champions League, having lost to Monaco in a dramatic tie.
Finally, Guardiola has now joined his former club as both of them got eliminated in the quarter-finals at the very same day - on April 10.
Since Guardiola's arrival in summer 2016, Manchester City have spent £448million to build up a title-winning team. They are all but confirmed Premier League winners of the 2017/2018 season.
Still, the Champions League is way beyond Guardiola's reach.
