Milinkovic-Savic cryptic over future after Switzerland loss
- After Serbia's heartbreaking 1-0 defeat in the hands of Switzerland, the Barca-linked 23-year-old midfielder was asked yet again over his plans for the years to come
Milinkovic-Savic said, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News: "The World Cup is a beautiful thing. And now I’m not thinking about what to do next, but only to my national team and do everything possible to reach the last 16."
When insistently asked about European clubs links, the midfielder claimed: "I can smile, but I have to think solely about the World Cup. Then we’ll see what to do."
Serbian star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been attracting attention from all over Europe and Barcelona are no exception. The 23-year-old midfielder had a great season at Lazio and he is ready to continue battling at the World Cup in Russia after a great performance in Serbia's first win (1-0) over Costa Rica and poor display against the Swiss team.
