- Real Madrid get ready to formalize their opening bid for Eden Hazard
- The potential offer is valued at €160m, which is €60m more than was supposedly offered by Barcelona
Real Madrid are allegedly preparing their €160m bid for Chelsea's Eden Hazard, according to the Daily Mail.
Earlier on, the Belgian captain praised Madrid, telling that it's "always a pleasure" to wear Los Blancos shirt.
I hope Hazard goes to Madrid simply for his own progression, Bale and Ronaldo stepped up levels when they went and I think he needs it— Ryan Dempsey (@Ryan_Demps) July 13, 2018
Madrid have identified Eden as one of their main transfer targets this summer, alongside with the one from the company of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Harry Kane.
According to reports, Barcelona are already "working seriously" on the move of Chelsea's winger, so El Clasico started already in a month before the season kicked-off. Daily Mail states Chelsea have been unable to tie Hazard to a new £300,000-per-week contract and last month Hazard challenged the club to make signings before he would commit.
