Sport: Everton reportedly target third Barca player in one week
- Everton are ready to pay the asking price (€16m) for Lucas Digne
- Barcelona won't prevent the player from leaving
- The Premier League side allegedly want to sign Alcacer and Mina as well
According to Diario Sport, Everton are willing to pay around 16 million euros for Lucas Digne. Barcelona would not try to keep the left-back if there comes an offer of no less than €16m, the Catalan publication suggests. The Toffees will face competition from Juventus who were said to be another potential suitor for the 24-year-old.
The Frenchman himself is looking to leave Barcelona in pursuit of more playing time. Digne believes that his status of Jordi Alba's backup has prevented him from going to the World Cup with France who are currently getting ready to face Croatia in the final of the competition.
As it has been previously reported by Sport, Everton are also interested in Barca forward Paco Alcacer and the Colombian centre-back Yerry Mina. The latter's agent has commented on the rumours already: "It's not true that Yerry has signed for Everton," he said. "There are many teams interested in Yerry, but first we want to know what are the plans of Barca."
Should Barce sell Digne?
