Harry Kane understands he may be unable to catch up Mohamed Salah in race for the Golden Shoe
The Liverpool star has scored 29 goals, five more than the Spurs striker who was absent for almost a month with an ankle ligament injury.
Kane was the Premier League top scorer for two consecutive seasons. This time, however, he may miss out on the prize.
“Salah has got a bit of a head start now, and we’ll see what happens. I can’t control what he does, so I’ve just got to make sure I prepare well for games and be ready.
“Salah’s done fantastically, he’s a great, great player and it’s good competition. I had the same last year.
“I’ve got to focus on my own game and my own team, and we’ll see what happens come the end of the season.”
Will Salah become Premier League top scorer this season?
