Liverpool-linked Moses Simon hints he'll stay at Gent next season
- The Nigerian winger confirms there is no official bid from Liverpool at present
- He is likely to stay at the Belgium club
“Well, for now, I’m still a player of KAA Gent; obviously, there was interest from Liverpool but nothing is concrete for now,” he told AOI Football.
“I’m currently in Holland with the rest of the squad and we are getting ready for the new season.
“We have a game against PAOK in two days; hopefully, I might play in that one.”
According to last month Echo report, the 23-year-old has been on our radar and viewed as a backup option for Salah and Mane on flanks.
Transfermarkt value Simon at €6m. His contract runs until 2019.
It seems Liverpool prefer to sign Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke.
