Ex United warrior Nemanja Vidic ready to start managerial career
He believes himself capable of dealing with modern football issues using the old ways
The 36-year-old former United defender is nearing the end of his Football Association Pro-Licence course as he is still studying at Ajax.
He believes, however, there will be a problem to face when he will start his new career: "There are no more managers any more, just coaches now. I would like to be a real manager."
There's an insiration for Vidic: "Alex Ferguson made it look easy. You watched him and thought: 'I would like to do that.' But then I went to play in Italy [Inter]. Then it didn't look the same."
Nemanja is concerned with the players' growing influence, too: "Players want the money and have more power - more power than the managers. It could frustrate me. When I was a player I didn't think I was above the manager.''
