Manchester-based source: Gareth Bale talks reach advanced stage
- Man United hierarchy find Bale a 'perfect addition'
- Bale is reported to have the final say
- Agent confirmed talks with Real Madrid board over game time
James Robson of Manchester Evening News, who normally has ties close at Man City, breaks the story of Man United being in so far successful talks with Real Madrid over the Welshman who will turn 29 next Monday.
Robson specifies that it is the player who will decide his future after talks with new Real Madrid head coach Juan Lopetegui. If talks prove to be successful, he will be another 'Galactico' leaving the Spain capital this month after Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 28-year-old still needs assurances he will have more opportunities to play even now that Madrid's chief star is gone. His Jonathan Barnett has told ESPN the talks will take place next week. He grew frustrated with Zinedine Zidane's squad management and needs to know his role under a new boss.
It's not the first report in Bale's regard. Not long ago, Paul Hirst of the Times informed that Man United interest in the Welshman is genuine and Duncan Castles, the first man to break Diogo Dalot and Fred deals, have always maintained the same.
Do you believe that after so many reports it actually may happen?
