Dani Carvajal's heart problems, Gareth Bale doubtful for today's game & other top stories this morning
Gareth Bale hasn't trained with the group and his participation in Espanyol fixture is uder a question, as Zinedine Zidane said in his press conference: “He has a strain, nothing important. But here we do not like to take risks. We will see if Gareth is with us tomorrow."
Espanyol will be without Pablo Piatti or Victor Sanchez, who both have muscular injuries. Both players are regular starters for the Catalan side. Also missing from the squad list is Hernan Perez, who has been left out by the coach.
Zidane reluctant to comment on Cristiano contract situation: “You can see Cristiano doing what he loves best out on the pitch - playing and scoring. I'm not going to get involved in his contractual sitaution. That's a private matter for him and the club; I'm sure it'll turn out well, as it always does."
