Arsenal fly physio to Ghana to look after Thomas Partey during international break

Arsenal are going the extra mile to keep tabs on some of their players during the international break, like Thomas Partey.

According to Ghana Web, physiotherapist Simon Murphy was spotted at Ghana's training camp ahead of their friendlies against Mexico and the USA.

The midfielder missed six weeks with an injury earlier this season but recovered in time to feature in the Man City win. He even played an important role in the game's only goal.

Now, Arteta wants Partey to be fit for the Chelsea clash next weekend, as well as for the upcoming Champions League fixtures.

It's not the first time Murphy has flown to Ghana to manage Partey's fitness. He was also there during the break in March this year.
