Michael Olise could snub Chelsea again, reason revealed

Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise rejected a chance to join Chelsea last summer — and he could do it again despite the Blues' remaining interest.

According to football.london, Olise has always been an avid fan of Man United, another club interested in the 22-year-old.

That was the case even as he played for the Chelsea academy between the ages of 7 and 14.

Last summer, Chelsea triggered a ₤35m release clause in Olise's contract with Palace, only for the forward to sign a new one. There is a new release clause now, but the amount is unclear.

This season, Olise's campaign has been disrupted by injuries. He played only nine Premier League games, scoring five goals and providing an assist.
