Malo Gusto to make unexpected Chelsea return - reason revealed

According to L’Équipe, Malo Gusto has withdrawn from France under-23s squad ahead of the games against the Ivory Coast and the United States. 

Gusto is said to be feeling unwell, hence would not be able to carry on his international duties after being affected by a virus. He will therefore leave the Clairefontaine and return to London later today.

Hopefully it’s just a little bug that will pass in a couple days and then let him rest and recover the rest of the break, and get ready for the final couple months of the season.

Gusto has become one of our key players for Chelsea since taking over at right back for injured club captain Reece James. The Frenchman has provided seven assists in 28 appearances for the Blues so far this season.
