Kobbie Mainoo sends message to Cole Palmer for winning Young Player of the Season

Kobbie Mainoo lost the Premier League's Young Player of the Season award to Cole Palmer, who has enjoyed an incredible season with Chelsea.

The young winger, 22, has netted an astonishing 24 goals and 12 assists across competitions despite Chelsea's struggles.

Mainoo too has been a revelation for Man United but few could deny Palmer's meteoric rise this season.

The teenager shared his appreciation for Cole by commenting a 'praising hands' emoji under the latter's celebratory Instagram post.

Both youngsters have played together for England's youth teams and could link up again for the Euro 2024.
