Arsenal eyeing potential moves for Alexander Isak & Premier League winger (reliability: 4 stars)

Arsenal want to sign a new striker and a winger to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s squad for next season, claims The Guardian.

The Gunners are considering Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak as a primary summer transfer target after being impressed with his performances in the Premier League.

However, it could cost the Gunners upwards of £100m to sign the Swedish forward, someone the Magpies don’t want to sell.

Moreover, Arsenal also has an interest in signing Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise to further bolster Arteta’s forward line.

Olise has nine goal contributions (six goals, three assists) in 13 Premier League appearances this season and is also being tracked by Man United.

However, the 22-year-old has a release clause of around £65m in his Crystal Palace contract – which can be triggered in the summer.

For the time being, however, Arsenal’s biggest priority is to sign a new centre-forward after seeing the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah struggle for consistency this season.
