Must you accept this excuse as Barcelona, then I don't think you know what we are after. Our motive is to win. Compare to other big guys in Europe not Girona, at least praise them for doing well and not necessary because they have 1g/w.

Ok we shall compare to other big clubs then, european champions city lost to Newcastle a few days ago. I guarantee theirs no hysteria over there! Bayern lost 3-0 to Leipzig and drew with Leverkusen, i very much doubt they’re worried yet. Arsenal drew with fulham and spurs, again, Im fairly sure they’re not crying! So what I can gather from you is that we have to win every single game every single week? Although it also has to be done by playing amazing football, and if we get injuries due to a lack of rotation and fall off towards the business end of the season, you’d be fine with that? You wouldn’t moan about xavi or find something else to moan at? Or are you one of those ‘fans’ who waits for barca to drop points so you can get hysterical and moan about the world ending?

Girona is a formidable team presently no doubt about that and apart from laliga which other competition are they competing in

Long season, folks. We are only seven games into a 38-game season. Not to mention all the Championship games to come. And all these games are coming in hard and fast. Girona are enjoying a rare treat; but make no mistake, their honeymoon period will soon meet reality. But fair play to Girona and Garcia as well. However, rest assured, the battle for top place will be a revolving door between the top three for a few more games yet. Soon enough, the cream will rise to the top.

Interesting standings. Competition is good. It motivates you to work extra hard. This 2023/2024 will be existing considering the form each of the teams is bringing into the season. Referees should be very mindful of their decision-making and not to bring favouritism in their judgments.
