Xavi delivers injury updates on Pedri and Gundogan

"There is no injury to Gundogan, it's just a blow to the back. Tonight we leave the pitch without injuries," Xavi has said after the 3-1 win against Alaves.

"We replaced Pedri due to fatigue, there is nothing else," he added.

This is fantastic news. We can't lose our best midfielders after being left without Gavi until the end of the season.

Ilkay Gundogan was holding his back already at the end of the first half against Alaves. Things got worse after the break, but everything seems fine after all.

Gundogan scored and assisted against Alaves. Pedri also provided an assist.
