Ronaldo picked up an 86th-minute red card for violently elbowing Al Hilal defender Al-Bulayhi.
According to Goal, Al-Bulayhi has earned himself a reputation in Saudi for trolling Ronaldo and Messi.
The defender went viral at the 2022 World Cup for provoking Messi during a game between Saudi Arabia and Argentina, and telling him "You won't win". Saudi won 2-1 the day leaving Messi to apologize to his teeming fans.
Al-Bulayhi was back in the act when he faced Ronaldo on Monday, and not for the first time either. It's why many Messi fans online are backing Ronaldo despite his unsporting behaviour.
