Girona drop points AGAIN: La Liga standings

Girona have suffered the 1-0 home defeat against Villarreal.

Michel's side remain one point behind Barcelona in the La Liga table. Blaugrana, however, have a game in hand which is great news.

The remaining fixtures for Barca are Almeria away (May 16), Rayo Vallecano at home (May 19) and Sevilla away (May 25).

Girona take on Valencia away (May 19) and Granada at home (May 25).

It's important for Barcelona to finish second in La Liga as it would allow them to participate in the Spanish Supercopa and gain some extra income.
