Xavi rewards Barca squad after big Rayo win

Xavi has decided to reward the Barcelona squad with a three-day holiday following their big 3-0 win against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday evening.

The players are allowed to voluntarily report for training and recovery sessions on Monday, according to AS' Javi Miguel.

From Tuesday, the senior team and staff can enjoy their days off until Thursday when training will resume for the final game of the season against Sevilla.

Barca have secured second position for the season and will play in the Spanish Super Cup next year.

Hence, there's nothing left to fight for this season besides bragging rights. However, Robert Lewandowski is still chasing the Pichichi and Ter Stegen is poised to win the Golden Glove award.
