Ibrahima Konate receives France call-up despite injury

Ibrahima Konate picked up a thigh injury in the first leg of the Europa League tie with Sparta Prague and is yet to return to the pitch.

Still, Jurgen Klopp claimed that the centre-back had a 'good chance' to be involved against Man United on Sunday.

And it looks like it after Konate received a call-up to the French national team for the upcoming friendlies against Germany and Chile.

Konate is still not back in training, though, meaning that he definitely won't feature for Liverpool in the return leg against Sparta.
