Darwin Nunez spotted in Catalonia amid rumours over Barcelona interest

Darwin Nunez's future is arguably the biggest topic of the last few days, and the striker himself does nothing to quell the concerns.

Shortly after deleting all Liverpool-related stories from Instagram, Nunez has been spotted in Barcelona.

On the surface, the purpose of the visit is entirely legitimate as the striker catches up with his Uruguay teammate Ronald Araujo.

On the other hand, just hours earlier, Catalan-based outlet Diario Sport claimed that Nunez was one of Barcelona's potential targets to replace Robert Lewandowski.

So far, Liverpool have no plans to sell Nunez, and Barcelona would struggle to meet any possible asking price anyway. So, any move will only become possible if Nunez pushes for it — which has not happened yet.
