Carlo Ancelotti has replaced injured Joselu with Real Madrid Castilla striker Alvaro Rodriguez ahead of the La Liga clash against Sevilla.
The 19-year-old was quite popular with Carlo Ancelotti last season, having made eight first-team appearances in which he scored one goal and delivered one assist.
This season doesn't go as planned for Alvaro. He had a poor start to the campaign but has bagged six goals in 21 appearances for Raul's side since then. He found the net in Castilla's 5-1 win against Real Murcia on Saturday.
While Alvaro is recovering his best form, it is supposed that his Real Madrid future may be up in the air: Raul doesn't seem to be in need of a target man like him while there is no room for the striker in the first team either. Maybe he'll be sent out on loan.
The last time Alvaro was part of the first team was in January when he played a few minutes against Arandina in Copa del Rey.
