The player received a two-game ban for dropping the f-bomb after his stoppage-time goal was wrongly disallowed, and even a double appeal on his red card didn't help the case.
In a heartwarming gesture of support, Madridistas displayed a giant banner with the message "Hey, Jude, madridismo is with you" before the game.
Touched by the fans' support, Jude took to social media to express his gratitude.
"My club, thank you for the love," his tweet reads.
The next time we'll see the midfielder in action will be after the international break, when Los Blancos face off against Athletic Bilbao on March 31.
