Arsenal are edging ever closing to finalising Jurrien Timber's transfer from Ajax to bolster the squad options ahead of the exciting 2023/24 campaign.
According to the Evening Standard, the defender, who turned down a move to Manchester United last summer, was 'impressed by Mikel Arteta's project'.

The Gunners' progress under the Spaniard convinced the 22-year-old that it was the right time for him to leave the Eredivisie and move to the Premier League.
Timber is expected to be used at right-back at the Emirates next season although he is also capable to shift to the centre of the defence if Arteta desires so.
